On a Sunday, I normally buy the NOTW. I pull out the football supplement, read the sports pages and then throw the rest of it the bin. I do the same on a Saturday and a Monday with The Sun. For additional football reading, I buy FourFourTwo, WSC and The Non-League Paper. So, do you read the NOTW? If so, what paper will you read now and what other magazines do you regularly buy or subscribe to?
If I wanted to hear about my phone calls, I would buy NOTW. Only thing I subscribe to is Jonathan Ackworths twitter... the exclusives he brings to the table are something no newspaper could make up.
I've never knowingly paid for any product of The Dirty Digger, not NOTW, Sky, Sun, Times or anything. One of my favourite TV moments was when the young David Frost destroyed him in a 30-minute interview after the NOTW published Christine Keeler's memoirs. The Digger never forgave him.

I can honestly say i don't read NotW, the Sun, or any paper, not even the metro! just use my phone to update my news feed with story's i'd be interested in (sport, football, computer games, music, comics etc) And the app for this site helps pass the time on the train very nicely
Why bring The Sun down? Why are people happy that the NOTW has folded? So many people have lost their jobs and millions more in tax has been lost. Personally, I think the papers are rags, but to see them shut down is a sad day in my opinion.
Some people have to much money, own to much, with to much power and even now the pied piper is still playing his tune.
If there's any newspaper that's totally innocent in this I would be hugely and pleasantly surprised. I seriously doubt it, and echo thoughts that it's a sad day to close any paper because of the loss of jobs, unless it's actually going to lead to fundamental change. Hopefully this will. Gotta say I tend to get The Football League Paper now on a Sunday as it's the only one that has a reasonable length report on League One games.
Surely, any man that would change his nationality simply to make money has to be playing with a different deck of moral cards than the rest of the planet. I don't know what's more loathsome in this whole sorry affair, the gross invasion of privacy itself and the intolerable distress it must be causing the victim's families, or the crocodile tears and evasive public statements emanating from News International. Disgusting.
I have noticed that some of my text messages are being read before I see them? I do hate everything that News International stand for
I don't wish ill on the Sun. I worked there several years back and the people I know are fantastic. The owners you can debate, but not the staff.
There are so many organisations that are corrupted and then cleaned up; but it is the people currently in situe that will suffer for the peccadillos of previous management.
