    Joe Cole is in London & set to agree a season long loan with us!


    Personally, I don't believe it,
    and also do we really need him?
    I know beggars cant be choosers,but i'd rather have Barton.

    I'd rather have Barton too. Joe Cole isn't finished, he never was any good. Thick as two short planks on and off the pitch as well which doesn't help.

    The Joe Cole of 2008 would be a top signing, sadly, another player who's cruciate was done and never been the same since. Perhaps Warnock can get the best out of him but, like others, I'd rather have Barton...

    Agree with all of the above. Would still take Cole though, just not at stupid wages.... Like was said on another post, best thing done by the goons was the £25k wage cap.

    Barton would have that aggression in midfieldr so stop play etc..but thats Derry position... dum dum dum

    Cole has had a bad time up North for 1 year. Against that he is under 30, has 3 Prem titles, 2 FA cups, 56 England caps and is a Londoner. More excited about him than DJ Campbell, who struggled to get in the Birmingham team that couldn't buy a goal....
