I could just post that Mr Sheridan isn't happy with the result. When a Manager just plain whinges and whinges then it's just not pretty is it. I wasn't very happy watching his style of football here but I was quite grateful that he did enough of the right things at the right time to keep us in the football league. After all his manking on today I've kind of gone off him completely. Man up Mr Sheridan and take it on the chin.

Have to say at half time I was expecting the worst today including hearing Joe cursing very loudly with his betting slip in his hand. What a difference a half time break can make. Mr Sheridan take note. If it isn't working then change it and have a plan B before the game starts just in case. Adams has a plan B and isn't afraid to change things around. He did and it worked......again. Sheridan was never able to change anything to make a comeback once behind. We have put that to bed a few times now under Adams. At the end of this match we were well worth the win and the points.

I have been reading some other sites this week and couldn't help noticing the keyboard experts who were decrying Brunt as being crap. It didn't seem to matter what he did he was just crap. Second game in a row now where we owe him for the 3 points. I just hope he continues being that crap all season. One also had a go at Jervis who according to him had lost it since the start of the season. I agree a little with that but who popped up with the other score today. Makes me laugh when these experts get it so wrong.

Yes Sensible, it was only a couple weeks ago Adams was whinging on.. but i suppose they all do it. Yes i was working today and kept getting updates on the phone and watch haha.. well when Brunt scored i was holding on.. Well we watched him at Dagenham when he scored and he was the best player on the pitch that day and only plated 45 minutes..

Wondering what to do next.. greens are 8/1 to win the league.. may put some of todays wining on that.. i doubt we will be far off top spot..

Don't jinx it Joe. I've said before that I never bet on football. I could never get anything right when I did. If I put 0 - 0 then it ended 6 - 5 and if I put a score it was always 0 - 0. If I bet on a cert to win they lost etc. I'd keep your money if I were you.

I've always thought Brunt was a decent enough player. Everyone likes a 100% man and he certainly is that. If some of the others put in as much effort as Brunt does and didn't ever give up as Brunt doesn't then they would be better players. My son thinks I have a downer on Wylde and it's true I've criticised him a fair few times. But, he bottles a tackle everytime and doesn't get anywhere near one if he can avoid it. He isn't brave even if he does get to the byline and cross a ball reasonably well. My son says he isn't there to tackle but it puts me off him I'm afraid because I will always back effort. Brunt gets criticised for what exactly? Trying too hard?

I think it just shows the impact of getting a run of matches in a decent team. Have never faulted Brunt's effort or attitude but 15 minute cameos are never going to give a player the opportunity to settle into a side or fit in with the manager's way of doing things. For me he has improved with every match and some of his link up play on Saturday (v Yeovil) was outstanding, by all accounts he was similar today and to put the icing on the cake has started to find himself in good goalscoring positions. The other thing that I think that people forget is that he is still only 23 and has plenty of time to continue to develop. Reuben Reid is going to have to fight hard to get his place back- might be interesting to see Rueben and Brunty in a starting 11.

I've had that discussion in my group lyndhurst. I'm not sure they would fit together having watched the last 15 minutes with them on the park against Yeovil. Reid wants and needs to be numero uno when he's on. Brunt ignored him on one occasion and shot over the bar instead of trying to play Reid in. Reid manked like a good un. In some respects they are too similar. I think Brunt is seizing the day and definately is putting himself in the Managers thoughts. After the last couple of games he is going to be hard to drop but I would also guess that a match fit Reid is always going to step over his head.
