I felt a bit sorry for the Newport fans on Saturday. They were a good vocal away crowd. I don't remember any match played in such unfortunate conditions. The gale force wind was driving straight into the faces of Newport's South end support. For most of the match their supporters were out of their seats and standing at the rear of the stand to get out of the wind and horizontal rain. It couldn't have been very pleasant for them. I cannot recall any time where I have seen a goal kick get as far as the edge of the penalty area and them be blown back over the goalie's head for a corner. It was that bad! So the Gas are getting some negative comments on the Mem facilities which we would like to leave behind. http://www.weareexiles.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=32987 Of course on a sunny day and a different result..............but that's another story. Has anyone checked whether any tin sheds have been blown by the wind finishing up near Parson's Street station???
This made me laugh - if Newport exhibited any more sour grapes they may as well amalgamate with 82 - the barons of bitterness. Tough **** sweeties - you were stood on an open terrace during a rainstorm, what did you expect? We know that the Mem is a dump, that's why we're going to build the UWE Stadium. Let's face it, Rodney Parade isn't exactly the Wembley of S Wales, is it? I think ROD should have a word with his Newport brethren - just because he's a whiny little girl doesn't mean that they all have to copy him!
exactly, if they had won, there wouldnt be any of this bitterness. they could have selected the seats but chose to be cheap and went for the terracing. its their own fault like baldee said, we know our stadium is crap. mocking us over it doesnt have any effect on us. thanks for the 3 points newport always **** on the welsh side of the bridge
That was fantastic, they even took that off you tube at one time for infringing copy rights. And CJS if I catch you ****ting over here I will rub your nose in it
not me, i cant hold it in that long it will be my dogs. now that they dont need to **** at ashton vale, wales is the next best place for them
