Gills will head to Wales to take on an in form Newport County side, as we look to secure back-to-back away wins - Will we return to Priestfield with 3 points?

This is a massive test, not quite sure why Newport is where they are in the league, apart from their early form which has certainly turned around since September, their last home defeat was to inform Harrogate 7th of October. Will Evans is a prolific scorer with 21 goals this season, only 10 shy of what we have scored as a team considering we scored 6 in two games.
They did however take a thumping at home last time out to Notts County who we turned over 3-1 the week before.
I enjoyed Tuesday's match, we lacked a lot at times, not sure what the answer is, but it was end to end, and when Hurtado came on WOOOOOWWWWWWWWW
What a player, I am sure given a few more matches he will certainly be the player who will turn our scoring fortunes around.
He is without doubt a lucky find
So to today's game, we have finally put our scoring boots on, 5 in 2, but conceded 3, matches are getting exciting and the season is fast coming to an end with just 15 matches to play. With position 14 in the league to place 4, they are all in with a shout, just 12 points in it and we know how fickle this division is.
We last beat them at home in 1986. Our last 3 league matches have been losses, and they have scored twice in all three. Only conceded one.
So to today's game it looks like another exciting combat on the menu.
I would love to see Hurtado given a full game as I guess we all would, Hawkins has looked good recently
So a few beers are in the fridge, and meat is ready for the BBQ. I have a few Portuguese neighbours invited over to add to the atmosphere.

I would feel a draw would be a great result for us. so my prediction

    County 2 v MKB 2 ( Evans x 2 hawkins and Mahoney )

I remember going to Newport in the early to mid eighties, I think it was an evening game, the only memory I seem to have of it, was it was like a racecourse style ground (think like an old Stamford Bridge but worse), that looked a bit run down, obviously they've moved long since - no idea of the result or the team that day.
