Great win for Newport. Into FA. Cup 5th Round for first time since 1949.

Man City at Rodney Parade next up. Wonder what City will make of THAT pitch. If anything can mess up their passing game, that is it.

Newport will make over £1m from their cup run. A far cry from their dim and dismal days of the late eighties.

Watched the game and newport battered them. Should have had a penalty, could have been 2 or 3 up half time.
Goal well deserved and others could have been scored.

Just noticed it was Dimi Dropolotopous who was well beaten by Newport's 2 goals. First one was very soft.

    Good to see. <ok>

He made a few good saves in the first half to keep borough in it then missed that one. Saying that conditions were poor.

Newport keeper ran straight off after the final whistle as his wife had gone into labour.

Probably annoyed because she's always been conservative.

My Newport mate described it as the “Transporter Bridge derby” <laugh>

Not often you hear a Newport accent on a football programme but 2 in one night:emoticon-0104-surpr

I thought theirs had been dismantled and rebuilt in America by some Indian tribe.

Didn't London bridge end up in the states? Though they thought they were buying tower bridge.

Correct - but that wasn't the native Indians - they've got more sense.

Now a transporter bridge across the Grand Canyon was a great idea - pity about Bomber. <ok>

His wife gave birth to twin daughter's.

    2.0 on both counts then.

What a night for him and his family.
