Newmarket July Meeting Tipping Competition - RESULTS!

a very close finish to the competition saw Redcgull, Ron and Danish Pastry fight it out to the very last race of the meeting.
Redcgull finally ran out of steam but Danish Pastry and Ron both picked the winning horse. However RON napped this particular winner and emerged as a narrow winner overall. Well done RON!

Ron. 14th July 2012. Heavy going. Up with the pace throughout under pressure, came late, all out.

 

Redcgull. 14th July 2012. Heavy going. lead out early, quickened away from rest, pushed out in last furlong, nothing to give at the line. lost by a neck.

Wow! I actually did quite well for a change - shame I only backed four horses over the 3 days!
