<peacedove> From the past Liverpool always have problem with newly promoted
teams. These teams seem not have the type of respect they have for Manchester
United, Chelsea and Arsenal-the traditional top four teams. It is a problem Liverpool must
find solution to and very quickly too.<ok>:emoticon-0150-hands

Poor finishing is the cause. Should have at least got 2 goals. In saying that if we held clean sheets in our last two games it would have been 6 points. So you can look at it both ways I guess. United goal was a poor one to concede, didn't see the one yesterday by Norwich

Indeed. Realy poor stuf. Should have been 2-3v0 up in the first half.

We needed the early goal, Norwich had already grown balls by the time we got the first, an early goal would have been 'Here we go' for Norwich, a 'how many' scenario but we failed to make use of some good football. We failed to use an effective pressing game when they had the ball in the second half and in te first too. When we lose the ball, especially at Anfield we should be squeezing the fk out of a team to get it back right away and not letting them settle. We didn't do that.
Lucas is a great anchor and would have provided some stability to our shape as he'll always be in the same areas and the others can swap and cahnce without leaving us deformed and open to counters and balls down the side.
We should have been more compact and maybe had too little respect for Norwich later on in the game, we should have at least shut them out, I'd prefer nice footy and get a goal and defend well compared to hammering for a second and ending up with a point thx, what happened to keeping what you have. 1 up, be solid and counter, our attacking setup was fine till te steam ran out a bit then the pitch opens up.

Tactics for these teams coming to play at Anfield. Like in battle, brace for the charge and just as it falters counter the more tired opponent. If you can withstand that pressure until it eases up you have a good chance. At the start of the second half we should have been inviting Norwich out and countering them as they tried to get an equaliser.

exact same scenario, we let a team come to anfield and have acres to play in especially again in the second half AGAIN, we should be fkn strangling teams like swansea and keeping them in their own half. WTF is going on
