They've spent the last week urging their fellow fans not to buy season tickets so that the money doesn't go to Charles Green. Now they're tearing into the likes of Naismith and Whittaker for not staying with the club and bringing in a transfer fee in the summer. If they don't want Green getting his hands on ST money, why do they want him to get the transfer money? They're a strange bunch.
To be fair, some folk were saying the same about Feruz when he left us and he hadn't kicked a baw. Season ticket money would have gone into the creditors pot because the account wasn't set up properly (apparently) so the supporters maybe had that in mind. Get it resolved first and then put money into the new club rather than to the people the club they used to support ripped off. Looks like they may have held onto their hand too long as it looks increasingly like the new club might not be playing any football anywhere next season.
To be fair, a certain fat jovial manager did stir the pot and he has to take some responsibilty for any threats aimed at any player who does walk away.
Feruz leaving Celtic is not comparable to what these poor Rangers player are going through and made to decide to leave. First of all when the Oldco administrators were planning the Rangers future Sally stayed away. Then after all the twists and turns and many would be buyers came and went finally Green came and like those before him, he has only one problem no money. Ally by this time had put his head in a sand dune and stopped taking phone calls. Now Ally acting the big man after the stable door has opened and the horses started to bolt. Moans and cries that they should have spoken to him first. How and when and more important why? How many fans want to give their money toticketus again ?
Are you saying threats against Feruz where justified because the situation was different? Arse! Threats against any player is wrong.
Any transfer fees should actually be going to the creditors. I know its only the tax man but rangers have just put 10,000 people out of work. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18575439
Thomas the Cat. Of course I am saying no such thing. Threats against anybody no matter who have no right, on any football threads. Threats not only damage the reputation of the particular forum but also the club. I am surprised that you thought I would think threads were acceptable. With this forum, of course standards have dropped very badly as witnessed by what the owner Maltese Mick posted toward the end of May. Undoubtedly he brought this forum to the lowest vile spot that I think is not a place for any Celtic forum.
