Just how mich relevance to fans attach to our so-called team morale?
Much was made of the dressing room spirit over the last couple of seasons , with Nolan, Barton and Smith being key in all this. Our never-say-die attitude was put down by some to this dressing room bond.
People were even saying we should keep Smith because he was such a character to have in the squad....at £4m a year I could think of cheaper ways to achieve this, and that selling Nolan might have broken the spirit.

With Nolan and Carroll gone and Enrique unlikely to win many friends ( I wouldn't be too chuffed if I was a new player being told the club wasn't buying like for like quality), I hope we can re-surrect this team ethic.

I hope the new lads will bond; with most of them being French , this should lead to a core of happy talented lads on which we can build a new "team spirit". All dressing rooms have had characters over the years and for all we know, Shola might come in every week with a new hat to raise spirits:emoticon-0100-smile
