Haway, and welcome to the match thread. Winter is coming, and the valiant steeds of the south, under the banners of House Huttl travel to The Wall to face the Night's Watch and various undead, for a battle of the ages. The managers - King Ralph of House Huttl - Benny Tez of the North - Wardens: Chief Steward: Tony T Assistants - Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn Slop Cleaner - Kevin Enemy Battle Plans - After cutting a swathe through the middle lands, King Ralph of House Huttl takes his hardy troops up to the Winterfell Stadium, and the great final battle with The North. Led by the swarthy Benny Tez, The North have recently pulled away from danger, through a cunning use of limited resources, and a siege style, starving out opposing armies. Brave House Huttl though have taken a more swashbuckling approach since the demise of Sir Spark of House Hughes. Scoring seemingly with gay abandon, House Huttl have steered a worthy course away from the pits of doom, toward M'd Tarbl Obskuritee. Key Generals: The North - JonJo Shelvey - always a thorn in the side of the South House Huttl - James Ward-Prowse - a fine, upstanding citizen Predictions (basically I really can't be arsed to do this properly today, as you may have noticed!) Newcastle 1-2 Southampton
Shame you used an image of a Liverpool fan to represent our glorious leader but apart from that, stout effort!
We're going to win this game 2-0. Not often I get these feelings, and not often they are right, but that's what I feel.
You can't just say gay abandon now, it's LGB+¥?!* abandon. Please issue grovelling apology on Twitter, Whosapp etc. At once. The Geordie lasses have impressive tattoos as well.
Brilliant! I dream of "M'd Tarbl Obskuritee". It's the promised land, from whence we can look down on the 're-legashun scrappers', not to mention those already cast into the pits of 'Champ eyun sheep'
For the second consecutive year, we seem poised to defeat the dragons from the west. Just have to hope it isn't a twist ending.
Mind how you go on the streets. I was reading that Geordies over 50 are the most likely to drink and drive. And not everything, black and white striped is a zebra crossing.
Nothing will ever beat the Bohemian Rhapsody one Which iirc was this fixture last season and Pellegrino's last match funnily enough.
Well, I had just finished work, cracked a tin of thatchers open & put on series 8 ep 1, so forgive me my bias.
Going to this one. Setting off early Thursday morning to ensure we have sufficient alcohol before kick off..
But only for the remaining five games of the season. Once the final whistle blows on 12th May, the stories about other teams taking our manager/players/tea lady/mascots will resurface, and the only way to cope until we are (relatively) safe for the next season is to obliterate any memories, and several million axial synapses, through the blessed relief of alcohol.
