Yesterday was the proudest day as a Newcastle fan, when Tiote smashed in the fourth I felt like crying. It was soo overwhelming; the spirit, the attitude, the support, it all summarised Newcastle United FC.
Despite what people say, they can call us deluded all they want, Newcastle United is a special club. Our fans have a bond with the club like no other, and although sometimes our love for the club can make us vulnerable, or even give the media a way to portray us all as foolish, you would struggle to find a more passionate set of fans. Yesterday at 4:0 down we were still generating an atmosphere, encouraging our players to atleast salvage a consolation goal, we were brilliant and backed the lads for 90 minutes. By the time we won the second penalty the roof was beginning to raise, and then when tiote scored I have never heard an atmosphere like that before- it didnt feel like it was happening.
I dont think i will ever see a result like that again at St James park. 5under1and was fantastic, but the passion on display from fans and players alike yesterday was just something else, it was literally unreal.
No other team has ever come back from 4 goals down in the premier league, and i find that is a fitting tribute to our football club and the passion that people too often overlook and label 'delusion'.

It just goes to show no player will ever be bigger than Newcastle United, and although Carroll was a great footballer, our club means so much more to us than just one greedy individual. The same goes for Mike Ashley; whoever owns the club, we will always be Newcastle United. He can change the name of our ground, he can sell our best players- but he will never break that special bond our fans hold with the club, and days like yesterday will never be forgotten.

A proud, proud Newcastle United fan.

Shows what a difference the fans can make. If everyone had cleared off that never would have happened. I can remember when Liverpool won the CL, and players said afterwards that hearing the supporters singing You'll Never Walk Alone at HT even though they were 3-0 down made them come out fighting. Of course, Newcastle's support yesterday was better because the lads scored four goals rather than the (pathetic) three that Liverpool managed.
