Images actually show up!!! Great thread as always SJW. This will be a tight game, i'd take a scruffy 1-0 win.
Saw some stat that said since November, they have been the most in-form team in the league. They have finally clicked and they really do have some great talents, most of them French, of course.
Toon scored 5 in their last outing so we are going to have to be alert to their attacking qualities. The good thing is that they also look like they could have conceded 5 in some of the games I've watched them in, so that's why I've gone for a high scoring win for Arsenal. I think we've got the quality to beat them, but it's a tricky away tie in a busy period of games so we'll have to be at our best. Good to see Walcott and Pod on form though, they should keep the Toon back four busy. Also if we win we get to see ****face Pardew licking his wounds
I'd go with Flamini-Arteta, and Cazorla in the middle, with Theo and Pod out wide, and Bendtner up front, would rest Ozil for this one and play Santi in his position. Also might start Monreal ahead of Gibbs too, It would be Gibbs' 3rd game in just a week if he plays, so maybe a rest would be good for him, wing back positions are tiring.
Love this formation. Want to see Cazorla and Oezil working the ball together, and Podolski finally tested at CF, when healthy, for the first time. Give Giroud a rest, he looks like he needs one IMO.
Why would you start with Bendtner for this game? When I suggested starting Bendtner for the Norwich game you mocked me.You also had a go at me on another thread over the same thing. What has made you change your mind ?
Tiote is back for Newcastle so that'll boost their midfield strength but I feel we'll have enough to take this one. It'll be a close game and our defenders should be able to take care of their attackers especially the in-form Remy.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Rosicky, Wilshere, Walcott, Cazorla, Giroud
You just knew that as soon as our players came back fit, a couple more would take their place in the physio room.
