I can see and end to end game here and I'm going to do a Jim and plump for a 3-1 win to the Toon.

Well it's just 5 days before we entertain the Hammers in what should give us an idea how the season will go for us. I'm getting the tingles now, what I'll be like on match day I don't know.

Still tickets left so it doesn't look like it's going to be a full house. Should still be a great atmosphere though.

    HTL.

Believe it or not, but, I am look forward to West Ham even after last nights abject display.

The season re-starts on Saturday and we have to get going with a win.

I'm feeling a bit 'Mr Tiote' about this game.

They need to put on a better show than they did last night or the fans will start walking.

I think Pardew's cred might be going down a bit. ( Don't tell WP I said so though.)

I'm looking for a vast improvement

I, Like a lot of people who have bought 3 year season tickets, (this being the last season of the 3years)
will have to see proof, that they are worthy of my hard earned cash next season,
a special deal to convince people to stump up front like that again,
will not be so tempting if the investment into the club is not there
and I know there is a lot of people on this deal who will not be taken in again by false promises

I think if we put in another abject display that will be it. I can see the ground turning on Pardew once and for all. Also, expect plenty of anti-Ashley chanting. It resurfaced last night.

I think we should all grab our testicles off the floor.

The City game was a disaster, but I still think we can beat West Ham. We weren't bad up until the sending off, despite the fact that City could have been a few goals up.

I thought we passed the ball around very well at times.

Remember we were up against the best defence, the best squad and quite possibly the best team in the division, and at their home ground where they've very rarely lost in the last few seasons.

Calm the **** down, all of you and be a bit more optimistic.

Certainly there's no excuses this time. Week to prepare, no Cabaye surprise. These are his players. If they look disinterested then he needs to move on. They have all the motivation in the world.

    7-0 to us....................

Honestly unless our lot grow a pair, it could be a morale battering physical encounter and a 1-3 reverse. We go one down, the fans will be uncontrollable and it will descend into mayhem!

Pardew, just do us ONE favour this Saturday – for Christ's sake keep Gouffran on for 90 minutes!

If Cisse is anonymous then haul him off and put Gouff up through the middle. You seem hell bent on swapping him out before anyone else ALL the time.

We need to get the ball to him and Ben Arfa at earliest opportunity and run at West Ham.

Tell Tiote to just SIT back with Sissoko. I'd even be inclined to stick Benny central in a free roaming role instead of Cabaye, put Gouff right and Marv left.

We need to start hitting people on the break, on the deck like Villa did against Arsenal and stop bloody lumping it...

    Rant over.

Surely the players will be fired up for the first game at SJP this season.
Put Man City behind us and let's have a go at WHU.
433 for me. Cisse hopefully will stay offside.

He's got to win this. Most importantly he must must must play players both in position and in the semblance of a recognised tactic. I don't know if Debuchy should keep his place. Dummett must start. Perhaps Anita at right back. Heard Tiote is out with a hammy so its taken just 6 days to showcase the squad deficiencies.

Difficult to call it, mainly because the gaffer is clueless and we have no identity.
