    Newcastle United V West Brom
    Sunday 28th October 2012
    Kick Off 3pm @ SJP

    Team News
We will be without the newly suspended Tiote who serves the first game of his 3 match ban.
The other long term absentee is Raylor.

    Form Guide
Of the 58 games played, Magpies have recorded 28 wins, and West Bromwich Albion have come away with 17 victories.
The most recent encounter was last December where the baggies inflicted a narrow 2-3 defeat on us.
We have lost just once in their last six home games, winning four and drawing the other one. A total of 8 goals have been scored with 5 conceded.
West Bromwich Albion have an average recent record on the road, collecting 2 wins and 3 draws from the last six. A generous 9 goals have been both scored and conceded in this period.

    Betting Picks
Three which jumped out at me are....
    - Toon win 3-1 - 13/1
    - Cise FGS & 3-1- 50/1
    - HBA FGS & 2-1 - 35/1

Just had a look on the 'Baggies Forum' unfortunately no Baggies posters, lots of visitors from the opposition, but match day threads with no posts...<yikes>

    Boing Boing anyone! <whistle>

Ben Arfa 2-1 @ 35/1 good odds, might sneak a quid on that.

I think either 2-1 or 3-1 and Cisse or HBA will be due a goal.
I know WBA are in a decent run of form but all form ends sometime.
Plus we seem to be getting a bit better little by little...
    Biggi for DCM or Anita?

we'll either win comfortably or get beat.

And I'd put Perchinho into DM.

Tash and I recalled the recent draws and losses against them at ours, so I think we'll be in for a very tricky match indeed. I reckon it'll be another annoying draw, so obviously I bet on a Newcastle win...

Not gonna put any money on it because I'm terrible at predictions, but 1 - 1 with Ba scoring (at the right end this time).

Going to be close and could go either way, West Brom have started well.
Going for 2-1 Colo and HBA.

West Brom can be very unpredictable and so far have been in decent form this season, so who knows? That said, this could be quite significant:
WBAFC: Steven Reid and Boaz Myhill are both missing, while Chris Brunt, Billy Jones, Jerome Thomas and Claudia Yacob all remain doubtful.

That's a few of their regulars who have been doing well this season.

Aside from missing Tiote due to suspension, we could be pretty much at full strength as far as first team contenders are concerned. I'm unusually confident about this one - which is probably a bad omen.

We have our main defence and keeper back now which we have been missing since last international break.Brom always give us a good game but i think we are just starting to get out of first gear this season.

    3-1 Newcastle, Ba FGS.

We need to start picking up points. We've had some draws that should've been 3pts and I hope it doesn't comeback to bite us.

With pretty much no injuries, Raylor excepted and obviously Tiote suspended, we can field a solid team especially in defence. Never easy to play WBA as they can be unpredictable and have started well.
Still I feel we could be at the start of a better run of performances, based on the fact that little by little we seem to be gelling better and becoming more fluent.
Am hopeless at predicting scores so never part with any money on that basis, still feel we could nick this one.
Will go for 2-1 Ba and Cabaye.
Think Perch will replace Tiote in midfield, unless Pards thinks Fergie deserves a run out at LB, in which case he may well go for Jonas. Would like to see Ba and Shola up front, at least as a start.

we will draw 0-0 and Ben Arfa and Cabaye will get injured and that would basically mean were ****ed as we have back up
