Oh and a special gift will be brought to the match by me….. for a certain poster…. Pics to follow after the match….
This will be a difficult game I think based on what I've seen from Man U the past few games. They've been playing well and lacked end product, but definitely not the shambles they've been most the season. No Botman, Hall, Willock, and possibly Gordon, mean Howes having to chuck out the same side over and over with nothing significant at his disposal from the bench. It means we're one injury maybe two from collapse, so they'll need to be holding winning positions in games.
They're definitely starting to look better and the toon will have to be at their best to win this game. The options Howe's currently got are dreadful...the drop off if we lose Joelinton Livramento or Isak for example is huge and I think this could be what does for our top 5 push in the end.... Fingers crossed we get some players back fast.
The loss to Forest and the goalless draw with City? They were dogshit in both games, they didn't just lack end product, they lacked any structure, tactics or quality. On the current form of both teams, we should destroy them, will be very disappointed if this one isn't a win.
They've been much better and it's been fairly clear. They're not leaking goals and starting to progress the ball quite nicely. We've not been playing great and are looking very thin, but yeah we're favourites.
They've won 2 league games since January....and those games were against Ipswitch and Leicester. They're not improving, they're ****ing awful.
The last 3 games I've watched it's clear that they're improving and have simply lacked a sting in their tail. If you can't see that then that's fine, but I can see quite a big improvement from a month or so ago.
True, but then we have won our last 4 games in a row. So, if you are going on form, we have every chance of beating this lot as well. Not saying it will be easy or guaranteed, but we are in form - yes, even with Barnes & Murphy starting.
Sure, I already said we're favourites, but I see this being far more difficult than some seem to think it will be. Reports Livramento might have a knock also.
There aren't and certainly not when you're down to the bare bones. It's hard to be sure what will happen, but Newcastle probably have to be a few points clear before going to Villa imo.
