I think we will win 2-1.. a tight one given TP's 'style'.

When did Obertan pick up injury?

It was probably Pardew using HIS knee to injure Obertan.
Our list seems to be quite hefty at the minute.

I'm not convinced HBA is injured. Rumours are that he has been out due to a family illness and we had to give him personal time like Colo.

I think Obertan got injured after monthly removal of a large amount brie from his heed. Pards got a bit carried away as he needed loads to go with his wine at the hotel watching the games. This left him unbalanced and he fell down and urt his knee. Allegedly.

I can see us losing this one. They will sit deep and get men behind the ball. We lack creativity and I can just see a wave of frustration washing over the ground. I think a 1-0 defeat could be on the cards, much to the mackems consternation.

Like HBA, I'm not convinced Santon's injured either. I think being so aimless at this part of a season would seriously affect the players involved. You see your name linked with Roma, Milan, whoever, and you're going to bust a gut to get on the pitch vs. talentless lump-kickers at Fulham or Palace? Nah. They might be up for the bigger names, Liverpool, Everton, Man U, Arsenal (good chance to be in the shop window), but not for the frivolous fixtures.

Obertan and Elliott might as well not be Newcastle players. But then how many can we say that about??

If I'm honest I wouldn't care if we lost this one as long as it gave the mackems another nail in their coffin. We are used to losing to teams in the bottom half of the league anyway.

Obertan came through the airport last week, heading to Paris. I'm sure we have good knee specialists here <whistle>

    He wasn't hobbling <ok>

I believe this backs up my theory. He needs a brie refill to correct his balance.

Given that I have only seen two wins all season, the last being against Leeds in the LC, it may be best to take my prediction with a pinch of salt and ignore it due to my apparent lack of sense. <laugh>

Hmmm, can't decide whether it will be an agonising 0-1 defeat after a totally pathetic display, or a hum-dinging 4-3 victory in an exciting end-to-end match.

I'll have to meditate on this one and get back to you.

After the Fulham game I'm not too optimistic about a thrilling end to end game.

Pulis in his press conference reckons Pardew will "still have control". The FA obviously haven't gone far enough - do you think it's too late to appeal for a jail sentence?

Probably not worth it. Shola will still somehow appear on the pitch at some point, I think the club's been brainwashed.

Even if we decide to put Armstrong on, you can bet that Pards' will have had a word with the lino and Shola's number will mysteriously appear instead.
