About time we had a decent FA Cup run.

Apparently Vinny Tan has given the goalkeeper an ultimatum to score more goals or he will be shipped out.

 

If the new manager hasn't won the FA Cup by the end of February then he'll be sacked too.

 

Leslie Chow is doing a great job of ****ing them over with his crazy ways. This latest stuff about wanting players with an 8 in their date of birth must be bullshit, that is just batshit crazy.

Important game as I'd like to see us have a go at the cup.

 

Next two are both big games - beat West Brom and we can keep up with the "Big Boys", lose and we start to slip back, similarly a nice cup run would help improve confidence. Fairly happy we're playing Cardiff, at least we can avoid the banana skin of lower league opposition

 

And so he should be.

 

He's also fining any player who refuses to wear a shirt and tie underneath their kit

 

Odemwingie was benched because one of the collar points was accidentally TUCKED IN to his shirt.

I truly feel sorry for Tan having to work with such incompetence...

I'm just thoroughly relieved to hear he has been looking into the players human rights so that he can fire them....

Back to the thread….we really should be going all out to win the FA Cup this year. We're not in any European competitions, out of the League Cup, massively unlikely to finish in the top 4 or bottom 3, so there is no excuse NOT to put the Cup at the top of our agenda.

 

And so say all of us.

Most of us anyway.

 

I'd love a good cup run, really would.
We know we will finish mid table (and Darth.. yes that means I'm confident my arse will remain out of Fenwicks window) so why not give it a go

 

New manager, fresh impetus could mean trouble for us on saturday with players fighting for their future. We may also have a different side out due to injuries, suspensions and players woefully off form making it anyone's game.

 

Pardew will probably play to win 1-0 again

 

I wouldn't have wanted to make changes for this one. Its a game we should be looking to attack in my opinion. Now though we probably need to - some forced on us, some neccessary because of weary bodies. I think we have managed the Xmas period poorly to be honest. Pardews unwillingness or fear of upsetting the rhythm of the team has led to physical problems.

 

Maybe you should have a word in his ear about it.

 

He has been rejecting my calls ever since I questioned is unwillingness to change the team in mid December.

 

Cabaye and Krul could be out with injury.
