we have been linked with so many players I've lost track. To be honest signing 1 defender isn't going to be sufficient but it's better than nothing. I'm more eager to find out who were cashing in on, who leaves for more money etc.

Won't happen for three reasons :

    1) He will be bastard expensive considering he recently signed a 5 year contract.

    2) If he was looking to leave , he'd probably go to Spurs or Arsenal.

    3) Talksport.

Personally I would love him and think he'd be an excellent signing but when Taylor comes back we'll have 4 very competent centre backs and only two will be playing.

Is this the Coloccini's cue to leave? I bloody hope not!

Can't believe Blackburn would sell arguably their best player considering their current predicament - they need to look at Wigan and N'Zogbia from last season to see what not selling your best players can do. From our point of view though IMO means the end of Willo as he would then become 4th choice, unless of course we are preparing to sell Colo

Just listened to the interview, and he says "If I was having a wild stab, I'd say they'd go for Samba." Hardly nailed on is it?

Quality CD, would be a great partner for Colo or a good replacement if Colo left. The only problem if Samba was to sign which I doubt will happen is when Saylor is fit again next season and Colo,Samba and Saylor were all fit, someone has to miss out which could cause problems in the team but then u could move Saylor to right back i guess. Anyway that would be a good problem to have in away and I would love to see big Samba in our team but just cant see it happening.

To be honest I'd rather sign Ridgewell for 1 or 2 million so we can use the rest of our budget to sign a winger with some end product. Ideally Hoillett.

We're not after him. We need a fullback.

There was a spanish one available in the summer who I would have much rather seen playing for Arsenal than for the bin dippers

Need 4 centre halfs, would just mean that we would have to be rotating the team more, which could be a sign of developing into a better team.
