    According to the Sunday Mirror.

Lazy journalism or something more to it? Id find it odd if we were to buy Gardner then also bring Gibson in. I think id prefer Gardner too.

Seems we are not alone with argueing amongst ourselves.

One classic line in there. No he's ****e.....not a lot you can say to that really..

Then Mackemmatty is locked in the middle of it all, looking far to clever

Anyhow Gibson, not bothered, but given the choice of him and the Jenas rumour, he wins..

I'm starting to write off Ngog and the Man U 3 because I only want players in who want to be here. I know all about holidays but surely if any of wanted to be here they would be.

All decent additions to the squad but none good enough to beg.

The mags have enough midfielders anyway so I can't see them going in for him.

Your right syd, no begging. Or is this your usual SAFC drag it out transfer. I'm sure they must run sweeps in the club to see how long they can take to complete a signing.

Gardner is the stronger player of the 2, i'd take Gibson, but i think Gardner is a great buy.

    They can have him!

    Gardner > Gibson > Jenas.

All good players, Gardner and Gibson very similar. I wouldn't have all three but the two G's I'd take, just to bulk out the squad. Gardner as a starter.

Well if it's another midfielder, maybe we should have pushed the scousers for this fella as part of the Henderson deal, instead of looking at N,gogo

Raul Meireles could be on his way out of Liverpool after just one season as he has not been offered the improved contract which he says he was told would be his in return for joining the club on reduced terms.

Meireles is a quality player, he'd be a magnificent signing.

Think the other cubs interested are just too big for us to even dream about it though!

I think we need a bit more patience. O'Shea would be worth waiting for and he and the others are being asked to finish their time at the biggest club in England to come here. I think we all understand the tradition, support and facilities we have, but at the end of the day we've won **** all since before I was a teenager and I'm pushing 50 now!
