Yeah David Platt told others people don't know how good we are.

Yup. Does anybody think we can sustain this for the rest of the season? Not the position, just the performances and winning against teams around us. I think we could, just depends on the first game after Chelsea, where we are expecting to pick up points.

I've always liked when David Pleat has commentated on our games this season, he's always praising us and says not to under-estimate Newcastle.

with years of constant mockery of geordies in the media, its obvious that people just have a negative opinion and want to downplay newcastle any oppourtunity they can, it's set in the minds, anytime we do well, its like there is a battle between what's happening and what they think SHOULD be happening (in there heeds), as if its offensive for newcastle to do well, when they think they should not, WELL **** OFF

nice words now from the dogger shame it took platt to say it to change his opinion wasn't that long ago he was saying the usual 'they haven't been tested yet' as have others i'm expecting the other pundits to follow suit now platt, jordan and mancini have given us the credit we deserve.

I'm sorry but Collymore grinds on me so much, even when he's complementing us.

I like how he made it seem it was actually us doubting our team all along...

How many times did he say "Newcastle fans thought"?

I like how the players who left were listen in order of importance.. with Nolan last.

Really annoys me when pundits look at his goal record and immediately assume he was our best player!

  11. We definitely need to boost squad depth if we want that 7th spot.

We also need to have a good run about christmas.

I'm hoping for a pt from Chelsea, a pt from Norwich, two wins at home to WBA and Swansea, Which would put us on 33pts by christmas, and I'm hoping to win vs Bolton away, so that will put us on 36pts, which means we'll probably still in the top 6 come the jan transfer window, and we could attract the players we need.

    I'd sign -

    Ridgewell
    Maiga
    Pieters/Cissokho

    Colo and Guthrie sign contracts.

That would make me happy. If we could keep Simmo for the rest of the season that would be nice.
