    Chelsea -vs- Newcastle
    Newcastle -vs- West Brom

    and then;-
    Sunderland -vs- Wolves
    West Ham -vs- Sunderland

    - who d'you think will have final bragging rights in the North East? :bandit:

Sunderland will be ahead, but I wouldn't brag too much if I were a supporter of them <laugh>

Like the signature. It's sacrilege, obviously, but still good banter.

I'm going for Newcastle, mainly through bias but I'll back my choice up. Wolves and West Ham are scrapping for survival, whereas Chelsea and West Brom have nothing to play for. I'm not overly confident of getting anything from Chelsea, but we beat the 4-3 down there in the cup, and drew with them up here in the league. So anything's possible.

Looking forward to the WBA game, should be a cracker if Hodgson hasn't ruined the team di Matteo built.

    You've asked two different questions.

1). Who will be head = Sunderland probably will. I'd LOVE their fixtures at the moment

2). Who will have bragging rights = Newcastle. Even if Sunderland go above, we thrashed them at home and almost beat them at their place when they were a team apparently gunning for Europe. This seasons bragging rights officially go to us. Next season, who knows.

I wouldn't want their fixtures, Wolves were so up for it yesterday and now they are out of the drop zone will see it as a chance to break clear.
Also depends how West Ham do at the weekend, if they are still in with a shout they'll go down fighting.

Chelsea looked poor and uniterested yesterday, we managed to get something from there the last 2 visits so you never know. West Brom hopefully Pardew will have us up for this game to go out on a high, it's certainly winnable.

Have to agree we have the official bragging rights though :p

After intensive research I have come to a conclusion that the respective managers have heads.

Pardew has a longer nose due to the fact that Bruce has ignored Rhinoplasty for decades.

Newcastle to finish above by a nose.

If Bruce were to rectify the squashed and mangled facial feature than perhaps Sunderland would finish top of the two clubs.

Well yes that's true, but there's no denying that they're down there in the first place for a reason. Altogether they've been poor. The same goes for West Ham.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are packed with quality, and they're difficult to beat even if they take their foot off the pedal.

Both our fixtures won't just lay down though. They might put up less of a fight than Wolves and West Ham, but Chelsea will want to be runners-up and West Brom will be gunning for a top 10 finish. There's still reasons to push on, just like we have.

We will just edge it on goal difference. Í don't see us getting a result against Chelsea but hoping for a win at our final game at home and season against WBA.

Sunderland will be up against a Wolves team who on yesterday form are up for the fight to stay in Prem, so a Wolves win.
West Ham dont have that fight in them, even the board dont turn up so a Sunderland win.

As a Newcastle fan I am very pleased with our season. After CH sacking I thought it would go tits up but the manager and team have done well.

Sunderland should, but I hope we finish above them. They should be ashamed if they don't finish above us.

Due to the run ins of both teams I have to go with Sunderland, I think we'll lose to Chelsea and draw with West Brom, and they will get 4 points, leaving them 3 points ahead and in about 10-11th place and us in about 13-14th.

Having said that though they want to take a serious look at themselves, they have had an awful season and we've been above or on par with them for most of the season and we're a newly promoted side, Agent Bruce has done well.

  13. Even if Sunderland finish above us we'll have all the bragging rights mate.

We thrashed them 5-1, should have gotten the double over them really, we've just came up and only spent around 8 million compared the massive amounts they've spent.

We've got the bragging rights, let them have their small table advantage.

Bit harsh Jonny, not many teams could have coped with our injury situation.

    We haven't !

We haven't either, had just as many as you mate. It's fair to say both NE teams would be scrapping for a top 7-8 place were it not for the shocking injuries.

Bragging right obviously to the Mags this year - they would have had to finish on a lot fewer points than us after the derby results I'm afraid.

As it happens I don't think we do actually have the easier last two games... at this stage it comes down more to fight and desire than skill and both Wolves and WHU will be balls-out to survive in the PL whereas Chelsea are gonna be deflated after their chance of being champions essentially vanished at the weekend. WBA, Sunderland and Newcastle are all in the same position of chasing a few extra points and a few extra quid but essentially the games do not mean so much to the players I reckon (I doubt many players really care where the other NE team finishes... it's only the fans worry about that).

Mags have certainly performed better than many thought but it's not unusual for a newly promoted team to have a good 1st season back and then suffer from second-season syndrom... besides there's always Ashley to cheer us up
