    its not that he didnt want to move to newcastle, its more that he didnt want to move away from villa. he wanted to be accepted at villa. its not that it was personal against newcastle, he probably would have said the same about any club bar the top 5/6 teams

    Alls well that ends well. Another injury prone player who was of no use. Don't get me wrong, cracking footballer when on form. The headline writers are class though, very clever with how they make it sound. They've had it in for Ireland since that Ireland National team debacle a few years back. He knows they have it in for him too. To be fair to them though it's not as interesting a headline if you write "I never wanted to leave Villa".
