    The latest rumours emerging are that Newcastle are entering the running for the Big Dane.

    With Enrique seemingly on his way to Liverpool, that would free up some cash and would perhaps allow a bid.

    How do you guys feel about this? Will he wages be a stumbling block? Would he be a decent replacement for Andy Carroll?

    Really think there are much better options out there. If he was to sign though I would get right behind him and hope he does well. Also at Arsenal he played wide a lot which doesn't suit him, given the chance as a central striker he could come good.

    Sorry Alfie!! I don't really go on other teams boards so posted it on Arsenal and decided to link it to the Newc folks for their opinions too. If a mod wants to thread-merge that's fine. Just thought each might want the others opinions on the situation.
