just hear Newcastle have not won away in any competition all season and have lost 9 in 11. so if we lose we are in trouble. hughtons press conference for Newcastle game says about transfer window about if we don't get no one hes happy with the squad we have. sorry but lots of people saying if you do not get a striker in he is mad. i say if we don't we are in trouble we need one. how can he be happy with morrison who's slow then kane who has been rubbish so far the only good players we have in striking is jackson and holt what if they get injured at the same time we have no one good to come in. we will start to fall down the league not getting much points. we shouldn't have to rely on our midfielders to score all the time thats the strikers job. we might aswell play 6 midfielders no strikers like spain do. rant over
What if an asteroid was to hit Carrow Road and wipe out the entire squad?? What would we do then!! Why are you always so negative Andy!!
sorry but that is a ridiculous post. we should only buy if the player is better than what we have! what the hell is the point of just buying a striker just to please a few moronic fans who think if we don't buy its the end of the world? grow up
How can you possibly say - on the evidence you've seen, that Kane has "been rubbish" He broke a bone in his foot and only returned from Tottenham about two weeks ago. And has had one (1) start for us, plus a couple of late sub appearances before his injury. This sort of negative attitude may be rampant on the pink'un site, can I suggest you air you views on there where you might find somebody that agrees?
1. We don't want to lose against Newcastle, but if we do, we are no more' in trouble' than we were champions when we beat Man Utd. For the record I think we will win, but it will be close, (as have many of NUFC's away games this season). 2. Hughton is not saying he will not be making any signings; he's too ethically sound to talk about other clubs' players until something concrete has happened. He clearly finds the constant transfer window speculation amusing, and enjoys the press conference banter. 3. A goal from midfield is a goal. Against P'Boro, 2 of the three goals were scored by players playing in a forward role. And I love watching big muscly central defenders galloping up the field for a corner or free kick, scoring with an unstoppable header and galloping back for the restart. They are the best goals of all!
Gosh it's one game we need 5 wins to be nailed on safe and we are not in trouble should we lose to the Toon

I think the Newcastle game is important from the point of view that a win will put clear water between us and the bottom 6 or 7. The loss tightens the league up and it all becomes a little more nervy. There certainly is no need to panic, at least no more than usual. I'm sure we'll be fine but I would like another striker.
