Hi folks. I'd make a cross-board thread but the feature has been disabled so I'll just have to post this on the boards of the fans who's opinions I care about. I've never really known what fans of other clubs have thought about Newcastle and Sunderland, the two North East clubs isolated right up here in the corner of England. I was just wondering what DO you think? How would you view and compare the statures and histories of the clubs? Do you have any affiliations with either side? I'm fully aware some of you won't give a **** about either club and have never had a single thought about Newcastle or Sunderland, but for those who have, I'd be very interested to hear your views and how you see each club.
Very passionate fans, not been affected as much by Sky and the corprocracy of Football. I don't really no what to say no offence. Both very good clubs IMO with a history of loyalty.
my mate lived in newcastle a while and he reckoned it was a top place, town centre after a home win was a place to be !!
Real fanatical fans who hate each other, probably more than any other two teams in the whole of GB Geordie eye test YIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIY
Both "proper "football teams, from football Cities. Have produced real stars and great teams over a long period. Excellent, knowledgable fans, no bull ****, call it how it is. I think you're well liked and respected throughout the game. Bloody pity about the weather !!!!!!!!
I found that geordie eye test thing so funny when I saw it and I'm a mag. Good to hear. And yeah it's miserable up here an awful lot but what ya gonna do. Btw, one more quick question, which club do you guys see as the biggest?
I thought that was coming. Sunderland have been great in the past so I don't want to sound rude, they are a great club with a loyal following much like yourselves. I've always thought Newcastle were the bigger of the two personally, but not by much. The gap certainly isn't as big as it is with United and Liverpool. I think MON will turn Sunderland into a top team on par with Newcastle.
