Did you all see Best's goal that was disallowed for offside, despite him being about 2 yards onside (played on by Rosicky who was right in front of the linesman's nose). I couldn't believe it.
Then Nolan should have scored right at the end - thats the sort of goal he has scored all his career, with us and Bolton.

  2. Yeah well i agreed with most people saying that our 2nd penalty was soft. 4-4 was the correct result mate.

Fair enough. Still think Nolan should have scored though

I keep playing Nolan's chance in my head and what could have been.

Both Arsenal players closed him down and were in no position to catch Nolan had he just knocked the ball past them and ran into the box leaving him with a one on one chance.

Yeah, as Tash said justice was done by giving us a soft penalty. As for Nolan 9/10 he would have scored there but sadly he didn't. However I wouldn't worry too much, Nolan will score again and a draw was a good result against a decent Arsenal side. Hopefully the nature of the comeback will give us the confidence to get 9 points out of 9 in the next three games. 6 out of 9 points is a must in my opinion.

Probably wasn't the softest penalty ever given to us. That would be in one of the games early last season (listened to it the radio, so can't remeber who it was against) when the referee told a defender that if there was anymore pushing in the box before a corner it would be a penalty. The corner was then taken and a defender pushes (ish) Andy Carrolll in the back.

Does anybody recall this, or did I just dream it in hope...

Nolan has scored 1 less league goal than Kevin Davies and Wayne Rooney combined this season. From Midfield.
