Following on from the Friday Night drinks thread, what is one quaffing tonight? I've just twisted the cap off a red from the Beziers area via M&S, Le Froglet, quite supple and only 11.5% so should still be awake at midnight..... Cheers Lads & Lasses
Yep, it's going to be a cold one but I'm staying in with friends! Have a good one Tramore, are you and the better half going out to party the night away ?
Sadly, water for me, just getting over a bad dose of the winter vomiting bug which fairly pole-axed me for much of this week...
1x Morphine patch 1x Valium 5mg 1x Diphene 50mg 2x Solpadine 1x Omazaprole And then alcohol wise it won't matter a shot at this stage Prolapsed L5 disc.
I've done L3/L4-L4/L5-L5/S1. Mine are slowly going where as yours sounds aggressive. Hope it sorts itself our soon for you.
About 4-5 pints of cooking lager (Carlsberg) while at a guilty pleasures night. Probably be Whitesnake and Journey filled (actually that would be better than very contemporary chart stuff). Have a good evening everyone.
Well, the wife and I have already have too much bland sauvignon blanc for either of us to drive, which rather ****s up the plans and will necessitate an apologetic phone call in a few minutes. On the plus side, yet more prosecco in the fridge and the remarkable Wilko Johnson on Jools Holland later, and my head should be clearish for getting to LR tomorrow. I've never liked New Years Eve (in contrast I love Christmas), except when I was a kid and we used to have a big night out as a family with mates at Bertorelli's on Charlotte Street. Later on I was as close to death as I have ever been (except when a bomb went off at the Ideal Home in earls Court, about 76) in massive crushes of people - twice. Once in Trafalgar Square and once in Hong Kong. People died on both occasions. So a quiet night in is rather attractive.
Just back from a Ruby with the family and currently sipping a calming Limoncello. Prosecco awaiting, followed by some 'proper' Champagne (Canard Duchene). Looking forward to Wilko and Ed Sheeran on Jools.
