Off Topic New Year Dip

Morning all.
On New Year's Day, I will be doing the dip in the North sea at Sheringham. There will be a collection to raise funds for the RNLI at Sheringham. If any of you fancy a day out to watch, or even to come and take part with me, it would be great to see you there.
It's a great cure to clear the head

Enjoy your dip Resurgam. These type of events are bonkers but a great cause in the RNLI. Have you seen the advert on the Beeb that was filmed in Cromer? I thought it was overlong until I realised where it was. Happy memories from there with the long departed grandparents.

UPDATE:

Just short of 300 people went in for the dip, and just over £1500 was raised for lifeboat from bucket collections on the day.

PLUS, we all chipped in and had £10 e/w on Nautical Nitwit at Cheltenham with skybet. 20/1 paying 5 places.
Needless to say a few merry crew members during the afternoon in the pub
