What can be said about the likes of Coolmore and Goldolphin, when it comes to unearthing a new star, that hasn't been mentioned already? Sure they spend a King's ransom on procuring the best blood stock around the place, but it has to be admitted that the regularity with which their conveyor belts turn out budding champions, is amazing.

Today at Melbourne's Moonee Valley racecourse, Coolmore trotted out their latest hope for the big stuff, just down the track. After an easy win in in the country at the end of last month, the $320,000 Magic Millions purchase, Atlantic Jewel, faced the starter for just the second time, in the first race on the card, a 1200m Fillies event. Sure the class wasn't all that hot, but it wasn't all that bed either. I'd heard that she had a decent motor, but in running, I'd written her off. She was travelling well, but conceding the ground she did, around a tight course, over the short distance, I thought she was gone.

Look at the way she goes to the line! She's on the outside in the Dark Blue.

Tam I've had that with the Big Pond site, but it's only the live video which is unavailable. Click on the link from Cyc, then when the page opens DON'T click on the play symbol in the video box, look to the panel on the right headed "Today's racing". Click on "Replays" under Moonee Valley and when the page loads scroll down a little until you see the first 6 available videos (starts with Rosehill race 8) and the words "1-6 of 60 videos". Click on next until you get to page 3 - there you will see Moonee Valley Race 1. Click on that and the video should then play. You can select a higher quality from the settings butto at the bottom right of the video box - a white triangle on a blue background. Medium is usually the best unless you have a very quick internet connection.

Cyc looks like a very nice filly, be interesting to see how she develops in her next races <ok>

Looked pretty impressive Cyc. Have the others any form?

Did you see you made a profit of £93.31 on the Tricast. Clever bet you had there.
