Wolves have promoted assistant boss Terry Connor to manager until the end of the season. It's gotta be good news for us!

We'd hope! He'll probably get them out of it now!

Hopefully he's the next Steve Keen!

I really don't understand why clubs sack a manager without any clue - if they thought the assistant was capable the install him quickly otherwise you give the impression that you couldn't get anyone, have downgraded and don't really have that much faith in the assistant anyway.

Also, the assistant has been part of that failing dressing room and so would have to be something really special to ignite it (as opposed to a new man coming in).

Should've keep moaning Mick - bad for them, good for us.

Mick McCarthy admitted after beating us it was Terry Connor's tactics that changed it for them...

He couldn't manage the same thing in the reverse fixture (or any of the other woeful performances that have led them 11 v 11 to actually be worse than us). Sorry, I gave credit for that one to Cisse.

Yes, Connor's tactic must have been to have Johnson throw himself by the throat at Cisse's hand

Cisse for me too hands down. Only saying MM said it was Connor who decided to bring on an attacker (Ebanks-Blake) when their midfielder got injured and to start the second half with three up front with Doyle coming on. If MM had it his way they would have been cautious and the possibility of us getting something greater.

They're still the worst team in the division, but for Fletcher they'd be nailed on already...

    I agree with QPR Matt.

Cisse was indeed the reason that Wolves won that game and had FA to do with tactics.

you have to wonder how Connor will feel as he may not get the chance to manage next season. Then again 13 games to prove himself........
Nothing against Wolves fans, but on this occasion, I hope the manager has shot himself in the foot

He seems to be rallying his troops right now, 2-2 after being 2-0 down.
