Take a look at this new transfer rumour site and see what you think: http://thetransferrumours.webs.com/ Feel free to post comments about it on here or on the site directly. I'll let you know later why I'm interested in your opinions.
Looks well put together, but not yet enough rumours to really make a judgement. 'Hotham' - a mate of yours?
As iv made one properly, and i know webs.com is a lot easier way to create a website. More or less just adding text into the site rather then actually creating the pages directly. It's what me as a web programmer would like to call cheating My site has got a lot of members on now just for Hull City fans and i am working on creating a other dynamic pages. However, i think i may need another administrator to help me with my inputting and keeping it up to date, as I'm lagging behind. as for this site, i believe its a bit bare, but simple. Not a lot of content as of yet but the wording is pretty good, something in which i am not good at.
I don't see the point of it really - people can use the football-rumours site if they want mindless gossip and they can go on blogs about their team if they want opinion. Seems like an odd concept trying to merge the two unless they have genuine inside info to share. The Leeds keeper article contains several inaccuracies and nothing insightful, so that would suggest they don't.
Well set out, but I'm in agreement about the bad concept; it looks like they're merging a rumour site with a message board. Could work, but needs some developments...
No, it's just my lads site, he wants to be a sports journalist and that's his first attempt at publishing some articles. I thought it was a decent first attempt and he's knocked all of those articles out in the past couple of days and without any assistance from me. Let me know if you want him to contribute to your site Beverley, he'd obviously rather write about City than anyone else.
Very commendable first attempt, good luck to him. My negative comments were only comparing it to other similar sites, but it definitely has substance if he wants to continue with it
Get him writing some articles on not606 when it gets featured on NewsNow. That'll give his writing some good exposure while still being the accredited author and obviously means he won't have to jump through all the NewsNow hoops with his own site.
very good 1st attempt, i have no room to criticise i still struggle using microsoft word sometimes...
