As the Allams want to manage the football club like a business, perhaps they could review our transfer policy so we get 'better' value for money! The deals would not carry a fee, but be a barter of exchange, there strength is Marine generators, who could we swap for a marine generator or 2 (or 3 or 4 or more). Obviously we trade at full MSP, but have the benefit of it only costing factory gate ;) they are so barking it could happen!

Abramovich likes his boats, so he might be up for swapping a few players for a few Marine generators.

    Who else?<confused>

The owners of the Titanic? <whistle>

(So, if the Allams screw up, we'll have a sinking ship in common).

Though they're called Allam Marine, they're really anything to do with boats nowadays, they just make diesel generators.

We could swap a couple for Leicester players, they could use the generators to create some more King Power...

I think you will find that Peterboro, amongst other clubs, are building a new stand complete with a decent sized backup gen unit. They have to have one for floodlights amongst other things. I know cos I have priced the electrical schematics, etc.

Funnily enough, there is a similar situation at Craven Park as well. Indeed, I am not sure if the generator requirement at Craven park might be circa £1 million. Why does that figure of £1 million ring a bell when concerning the Allams and Hull KR? I cant remember why but they do?

speaking of which, and totally off topic, does anyone remember the name of a World Cup footballer from some North African country in the 1974 (Ithink) World Cup, called Mustapha Kamaal? Maybe I dreamt it back in the day
