Hello all - first time on this (or any other) site read plenty of threads but not joined in until now. Been a QPR follower since childhood (more years than I care to remember!) don't get to many games these days due to financial reasons. I have not managed to get to a game this year but have watched the televised games when possible and honestly think we have a good enough team to avoid the dreaded drop - unless those of you who go to every game can tell me different?
Welcome Romney. I think we should be fine mate. This season more then most there is a wealth of relegation candidates. It sounds pretty negative, but i think it's more a case of we're not bad enough to go down rather than good enough to stay up!
Thanks coldharbour - that was kinda what I was trying to say - although we are a long way short of where I want there are a few teams worse - watching 2 of them at the moment!
Welcome romney. As to the question,it will depend on what NW does in the transfer market. The squad at present,in my opinion is only just good enough to stay up.
haha, yeah me too. Think O'Neil has a tough job there, they need a striker who can score goals more than we do! Think he'll keep them up though. Despite Blackburn's mini resurgence I think them, Wigan and Bolton are the three teams to stay ahead of. It really frustrates me that we have only taken 1 point off these three teams!!
Well aren't we a bunch of friendly, welcoming guys? We're gonna give him the impression that there's no acrimony here!
Romney Marsh? God, I've been waiting for that one for decades! What came first, chicken or egg? Do you live in southern Kent? If so, did that inspire you to support the team most closely associated with the place name or was it all just coincidental? Welcome anyways.
