    I wonder if we should go for him? I'm sure some would say we lack ambition by not going for him!

    The sad thing is, some clubs will be seriously considering a move. I sincerely hope that McNally would not give it a second glance. We need to spend certainly, but astute investment counts far more than throwing money at every problem. Ref QPR among many others.

    If you could have him on a free on a two year deal then I'd say why not? It's only £62M we can afford that .........can't we?
