Using Nani as the 4th choice striker? Hes got everything needed to be a success up top and he would be a totally different style to what we already have.

I dont want this to become a Nani v Ronaldo style thread as I dont want Nani to completely give up his job as a winger but instead of spunking up to £20million on another striker who will sit on the bench for months at a time why not let Nani lead the line when needed. Hes done it before and done it well and I have always felt he will be great through the middle.

We have plenty of cover out wide aswell which will allow Nani the freedom to go up top. His ability to shoot with both feet coupled with Kagawas eye for a pass could be a lethal combo.

What do we think on this, spend money to get a 4th striker who will never play bar a game here and there unless of injury or use the more than capable Nani and have Young/park/Giggs/Kagawa fill in on the left?

I would love to see Nani given a free roaming role behind the strikers but for this to happen you would need a strong midfield which could in effect carry a passenger, we don`t have that at the moment.
