After this result today, we have well and truly proven that we need another striker, It is getting a bit worrying for us now as we now only have 1 goal in 3 games to our name and Kedwell has still not got a goal from open play. I think it is about time that we get a player in on loan to go upfront with Kedwell as he needs someone to supply the ball to him. What sort of striker do we need, a taller striker who has good Ariel ability or a small powerful striker, Discuss below on this topic?
Small fast goal scorer. We desperately need something to give us an extra dimension and pace could well do that. A player like that working alongside Kedwell would open the game up for him, as at the moment he is isolated an it's all too easy for the 2 centre backs to keep him out of the game. He needs support desperately and could also do with the midfield playing closer too him.
Someone to scare the living c*** out of defences. Another Jacko / McDonald / Birchall...........but we are not going to get one. If we were, we'd have got him by now. Even getting into the playoffs will be a struggle if we can't beat A S at home. So much for the sunny days of August.........welcome to reality......especially with Lee and Whelpdale having lost their impetus.
It matters not if we had a new striker , he just needs to put someone up front with Keds (whoever) and get the ball out wide and give them some service!!
