Does anyone know anything about the finances of all of the commercial properties built along with the stadium? Are they owned by THFC and if so are they included in the £750M? They should pay for themselves over a 15 year period and subsequent to that, provide a substantial income for the owner.

Plus although we don't know who the sponsor will be, the presence of American football should double the amount that we get compared to a stadium for Football only due to exposure in the US. £300 to £400 million over a 10 year period will, in reality, would half the cost of the stadium.

How long before the Fail have to report £250M-£350M?

I thought that London Spitfire was a potential NFL team name, for a second.

Finally, at 01:00 this morning, the last back plate on the West of the South Stand is up and staying up. It's only taken about a week to achieve and has been, by a long chalk, the most difficult bit on the steel work. Let's hope the East side is made easier by those experiences and we can get cracking on the roof.

Yet another fawning Mail article on the build. Again, nobody else is running it. Levy must have really read them the riot act for the £1 billion claim........Nice pics again.

Don't worry about the Mrs, Bri, I think you amongst others such as RDBD are doing a great job of giving some detailed insight into the development. Always enjoy reading the thread to see where things are at and it allows us to feel a part of it, nice one.

A very good source of unofficial information comes from chef Glen Wardle and his twitter account....https://twitter.com/yeedo

He's actually got pics of inside, which are as rare as rocking horse ****. It may calm some nerves to see the extent of progress, especially for those of us who are becoming used to the luxury of Club Wembley <whistle>

The colour of the wall is either off-brand, or expecting a lot of people are going to try and clear the tilework...

It'll be nice to have endless space around you when you're pissing, but I'd imagine that the queues would be horrendous.
Wembley's a bit crap, but they have those troughs for a reason.
Also, the bloke taking it should probably have ditched his hi-vis jacket for the photo.

After all manner of problems with the back plates on the Western side of the trees, the first one to the East went straight up earlier today and the crane has just detached,, so all of the fixings must have gone in. Fingers crossed that the remaining one goes up successfully and maybe tonight.

That enables all of the remaining terracing to go in and the compression ring to be completed. A piece of that ring went in earlier today on the East side of the trees.

In the last couple of days, pics of lifts and a fitted escalator in the East Stand have been released by the club and another one was delivered there this afternoon....

They should definitely name at least one of the lifts after Chris Hughton.

...and as if by magic, a completed South Stand appeared...Chris Cowlin's going to explode tomorrow when he sees it.

The pic is courtesy of Micky66 on the wonderful SSC. Note the addition of a further part of the compression ring in the top left of the pic.

Talking of Chris Cowlin, he's posted this video footage of the inside of the stadium, recorded by someone working there [for now]. If his name really is Nick, he won't be working there for much longer.

The East and Suth sides are obviously not as advanced as the North and West which are said to be much further along but there's signs of stud walls going in, which indicates that all of the first fix of electrics, plumbing, air conditioning, etc being in. Also, escalators are being fitted in the east Stand, which means all of the major works are done there,

Patience Brian, the cheese is still maturing whilst the Beaujolais Nouveau is still growing.

I'm the least patient person that I know. Not with people that I love but the Mrs hates me doing things like self-service in supermarkets or reading instructions on Ikea furniture. I'm a shouting point in seconds.

You don#t READ IKEA instructions you LOOK and SCRATCH pick up 2 or 3 pieces then put them back down as it finally dawns what the ****ing drawing is trying to tell you. Way beyond shouting, isolation is essential, someone looking over your shoulder and making suggestions WILL result in a major crime.

That's why I am a capitalist, the system allows for companies like MFI (or was it FFI) to fail, the socialists would have rescued them, or even nationalised them,to save jobs.

I have a cure for the self service thing though, wait at an African border in a queue for an hour to get and piece of paper to allow you to go to the till and pay for a visa then queue for another hour with the receipt to get a stamp in your passport and you will pray for on of those self service machines like at Heathrow.
