New squad numbers

    Ahead of tomorrow's game at the Stadium of Light squad numbers for the 2017-18 season have been revealed.

    Simon Grayson has added six new faces to his squad so far, with James Vaughan wearing number 9, Lewis Grabban number 11, Brendan Galloway 15, Tyias Browning 18, Aiden McGeady 19 and goalkeeper Jason Steele number 1.

    Many of the squad retain their previous numbers, including Lee Cattermole at 6 and John O’Shea at 16.

    The Black Cats’ 2017-18 home kit is available to buy online now at www.safc.com/store and in official stores at the Stadium of Light, The Galleries, Washington and Debenhams in The Bridges, Sunderland. Shirt printing featuring the players’ names and numbers is also available.

    The fact wahbi and lens have been given 10 and 7 is a double edged sword. On one hand it could mean they stay on the other it could be they are keeping the numbers warm for their replacements

    I think its a case of if they stay then they will be in the first 11. If they dont then the replacements will be at the standard to be a first teamer.

    They're both c@nts who let us down when we had to battle…..would you keep them now the goings easier ?
    Get rid, pair of soft c@nts who couldn't hack the Prem, we can't even off load them .:headbang:

    Put them toward the back of the queue if you want to finger point.
