Simon Grayson has added six new faces to his squad so far, with James Vaughan wearing number 9, Lewis Grabban number 11, Brendan Galloway 15, Tyias Browning 18, Aiden McGeady 19 and goalkeeper Jason Steele number 1. Many of the squad retain their previous numbers, including Lee Cattermole at 6 and John O’Shea at 16. The fact wahbi and lens have been given 10 and 7 is a double edged sword. On one hand it could mean they stay on the other it could be they are keeping the numbers warm for their replacements
I think its a case of if they stay then they will be in the first 11. If they dont then the replacements will be at the standard to be a first teamer.
