It's about we had a few new original songs don't you think? Feel free to post ideas, not that any of them will end up getting going mind... I quite like this one i saw posted elsewhere... You should all know the tune. also... Both songs with obvious connections to our great city aswell.
Someone needs to come up with an inspired version of Bitty Mclean's (Aaron's uncle)- It Keeps Raining (Tears From My Eyes). It's got a singable rhythm I'd say.
Can anyone come up with words to the tune of Magic Roundabout for Aaron Mclean? His incredible "spring" should get him the nickname Zebedee.
Would like to think after yesterday Simpson will be given his chance, got us a good point yesterday. Got the 2 v Bristol and 2 of 3 against Sheffield I think it was. A song for Simpson may be an idea. Super Matt and I predict a Fryatt, I aren't aware of any songs for McLean yet but enlighten me if there is one. Simpson has saved us a few times but I admit my favourite front 2 are McLean and Fryatt on recent performances with Jay not getting a chance.
Simpson looked much more dangerous than Mclean yesterday, I think he earned a start and I'll be surprised if he doesn't get it.
Posted this earlier but If it would be pretty neat if you used it as we're Ull etc.. It takes 3 - 4 minutes but after they change the banner at the front its awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoA9UNpF1xk I'm sure they're singing "We're Hull ..we're Hull.. we're Ull we're Ull we're Ull we're Ull we're Ull....
I hope so, he's been patient and in the 8 or so minutes he had he took his chance. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a start with us having 2 games in 3 days as well as him scoring.
Heard loads of people saying they wish we had a comeback to away fans "I wanna go home - Hull" chant and I've been trying to get my "Oh f**k off back home! Oh f**k off back hoooooome! This is the King's Town, so f**k off back home!" chant going (which is also a million times better than the "how sh*t must you be, we're winning at home" chant too. Had a couple of other ideas, which are probably a bit crap, but it's worth a go, they're something different and an actual pro-City song. Heard the 'what's my name' song by Rihanna on the radio the other day and noticed a bit would fit with a city chant: "Ohhh wa-oh-oh-oh-oh! Ohhh wa-oh-oh-oh-oh! Oh na-na! Hull City! Oh na-na! Hull City! Oh na-na Hull City! Hull City! Hull City!" Tune here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0CGsw6h60k relevant bit at 2:00 ...and another idea, back in my uni days in Huddersfield, I remember their rugby team had a unique chant. It didn't feature the words Huddersfield or Giants, but was specific about the club. They chanted: "Far-Town!" *clap! clap! clap!* "Far-Town!" *clap! clap! clap!* "Far-Town!" *clap! clap! clap!* "Far-Town!" *clap! clap! clap!* ...as it was something to do with an area of Huddersfield where the club had it's origins or something along those lines, which I thought was quite cool and unique. We could maybe do the same, but use "King's Town" ? It would be relevant to the club, without using "Hull", "City" or "Tigers" - dunno, just a thought. It'd be something new at least.
The Peterborough fans sang "Aaron Mclean Mclean Mclean, the goal machine machine machine, Aaron Mcleeeeannn the goal machine". *repeat*
Here's one I've been working on for some time: Dawson, D-D-Dawson, Duh-Duh-Duh-Duh-Duh To this tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WqazleR3FE There maybe too many or too less "duhs" there.
Aaron Mclean clean clean, The best player in the team, Aaron Mclean clean clean, He can jump like Zebedee, From the left, From the right, No he hasn't got much hight, Aaron Mcleans got a spring, And a name we love to sing!
