I came across this comment against a piece of music I was listening to tonight on You Tube. I share it here because I think it captures the frustration that many of us feel in engaging with our faceless peers on social network sites, and the underlying sentiment is something I think many regulars to this board will probably relate to.

Arguing with senseless, spurious assertions amounts to little more than an exercise in futility when the forum is basically this; a tabula Rosa of commentary, lacking accountability and without discrimination with regards to who may post. People post the most vulgar, untrue, or inflammatory nonsense in these situations because, well... they can; not out of some underlying conviction. The most sensible thing to do is just enjoy a truly amazing song, and ignore the bullshit, I know I will.

and in spite of the bullshit we still come back for more . . . looking for the gems it conceals I guess

FYI "Acca Dacca" have always been an Australian band from Sydney.
The Young brothers moved from Scotland around the age of 10 & were only 2 of 5 founding members.
