Figured it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can ask questions, get tips and make suggestions for using the new site. What does everyone think of it so far? New and scary, eh Not to worry, I'm sure we'll all get used to it soon enough but if anyone knows how to change the font that would be good to know.
Do you mean the "Thread Tools"? And what's the reply box? As you can probably tell I'm going to be no help whatsoever
One thing I've found: the "likes" are the old rep votes - while the likes/dislikes/thanks for posts on Not606 1.0 haven't been carried over (yet?) Click their profile pic, click profile page, click on the "Postings" tab.
On the tools when I was looking to edit my post, saw the option to ban this member. Just off to the Chelsea board!
Can you see it for other people's posts or just your own? If it's just your own I wouldn't recommend commiting Not606 suicide out of curiosity.
Have all bans been lifted by this change of site. SISU apparently was banned from the Chelsea forum until the new site came in?
Apart from the grey, I quite like the new forum. When I copied Lawro's prediction into the All Teams prediction thread, it took the photo too, when the old site didn't. Also like some of the stats. For example http://www.not606.com/members/ shows me that Gerrez can't have any life outside this forum. He has posted 60k + posts - 6 x more than me and I feel I am on here way too much. He/she must be on 24:7. And you can delete your own posts - for those nights when you post after the pub
Better to access the site using Google Chrome. Older browsers don't seem to support many of the functions.
Why would you want to remove your own comments? This is a Spurs conversation forum. We all can't see eye to eye on things but I stand up for the freedom to express one's opinions. I love Spurs and can't stand Arsenal.Hope this doesn't make me a racist!!!!!!
People sometimes post quickly - after a few shandies say - and regret the post. Therefore need to be able to delete. Oh and I hate Arsenal too.
