Just wondered what others Saints fans thought about getting Craig Mickel Smith for next season, assuming P'boro don't go up, or is he likely to a PremierLeague team?
    Anyone else a likely candidate?

No, failed in the Championship before and there are better strikers out there.

We should be able to attract a few big names now.

However, too many signings can affect team spirit so I wouldn't change too much <ok>

mackail smith may be a decent signing, for rotation, however, i don't want us payingover the odds like posh want. They asked for 3 mil from norwich earlier in the season. he is not worth that much!

Yes get him in, 3/4 quality strikers we'd have then. Would be ELATED to have Lambert, Barnard, CMS ,Guly/Forte and possibly even Connolly available to play up front.

Jack Cork in at CM- was sensational when here before.

Honestly cannot think of a top centre-back right now...someone help me out on that one.

    Winger(on loan) - Antonio/Sanchez Watt.

Championship play-off race is a very hard one to call. It could be any of the four teams. So I really wouldn't be shocked if Reading were still in this division next season.

Either way, I'm not convinced that Reading would let him go. But purely from a personal point of view, I've been mightly impressed by him and would love him back.

Tom Cairney from Hull i think, quality centre mid, young and still good for the championship now, dubbed to be a top prem footballer i believe.

Personally, I think we sorted for CM next season with Hammond, Schneiderlin, Chaplow, Gobern + Ward-Prowse, Robinson & McNish coming through as well

    Default

    K Davis/Bart
    Harding/Dickson Fonte *New CB* Butters/Richardson
    Oxo Morgan *New Cm* Lallana
    Lambert *New St*
*New CB-Halford(don't shoot me,I heard that he is quite a good championship player) why not give Aaron Martin a go?I think we should put Llyod Foot in the squad/team as he's supposed to be a great prospect fo the future.
*CM-I can't think of any at the moment
*St- CM-S of course and I think that Sam Hoskins(academy) deserves a chance he's had a blisterring season at U18's level why not give him a go?After all that's Cortese's vision to bring youngsters through the ranks. If they are good enough give them a go.AB20

i agree that we have a very good squad but i seriously think it is only good enough to finish mid table in the championship, while we are on a high we cortese must make money available to bring in 4 or 5 quality players maybe not starting 11 but the squad as a whole deffo needs improving to compete for playoffs next season.

I predict Gobern will be a regular starter by the end of the season if not sooner. He has a good engine, is box to box, can shoot, and can tackle.

Fish MIlls is still our player and ha a season in the Championship with a team that has struggled. How much better could it be for him in a side that has some good quality in it. Would b like getting a new player as he has been on loan for a season as well.

We could possibly do with another but much younger version of Jaidi.

Seaborne still scares the p[ants of me, and trust me that is not a pretty sight.
