Hopefully PT has seen something that I haven't. Not that I've seen him play but can certainly say I'm far from exited with that record
If we're signing him as a winger a goal tally doesn't necessarily mean it's a deal breaker. The link above states he is putting balls in so hopefully he's going to provide balance to McGlashan. First signing we've paid a fee for this summer too!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28093898 This link says we signed him following his departure. So therefore him being released??
I think with him being under 23 you have to pay some compensation to the club you get him from, same thing happened with German last year if memory serves.
I'm looking forward to something other than one dimension for a change - it appears that we have a genuine prospect of using the whole width of the pitch.
Clearly PT/Hessy have seem something in him worth offering a contract. I've been trying to see if i can remember the lad but can't. The first question that came in my head though as a 20 year old is what about our own youngsters, we just gave seven of them professional contracts, Charlie Webster a winger I believe being one. Tie that with McGlashan I'm slightly surprised with this. However, decent wingers at Priestfield seem hard to come by, so await the new season to see how the new signing does. Hope we are still going to sort out the CB's! Good Luck Brennan
On paper the signing does not get you excited, but he will have been trained well at Brighton and he is another signing that is young that will get better.I think he has good potential to be a good winger, and will do ok for us.The Brighton fans rate him well, which is a good sign
