The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ange-Freddy Plumain on a contract until 30th June 2016, with an option to extend for another year.

The 18-year-old, who arrived on a free transfer, will go straight into Kit Symons’ Development squad for the new 2013/14 Barclays Under-21 Premier League season, having previously played for French Ligue 2 side RC Lens - scoring one goal in 22 appearances for their first team last season.

A midfielder who has played internationally for France Under-16s, Plumain will be a valuable addition to the Fulham youth setup.

Ah ha - is this is the trialist that Bidley and the Captain were talking about?

    Big lad.

The Club must rate him with that length of contract and straight into the U21s.

Got good experience already with 20+ games in Ligue2 along with 4xU16 and 2xU18 internationals. Even if 10 of the Ligue 2 games were as a sub, he's had good exposure at a reasonable senior level (at least equivalent to what Dan Burn got last season I guess).

Very promising. Like to see him and Chris David, jack Grimmer perhaps Cauley Woodrow getting places on the bench as the season progresses - even if they only get 5 minutes pitch time a month each - it's getting them used to the occasion and feeling that they belong there
