Those loveable friends of ours from Hull have only gone and got themselves a new shirt sponsor... Flamingo Land http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...mingo-land-as-new-shirt-sponsor-10380152.html Heads up lads, things could always be worse
That's f****** hilarious. With some of the names our fans have linked to the managerial vacancy, maybe we can get Skeggy's Fantasy Island to sponsor us.
Wow. Just followed one of the links on that page to a pic of the new Norwich City strip. That's got relegation written all over it.
To be fair, we've had far worse kits and sponsors... please log in to view this image The most interesting things for us on this mornings kit release, is that it's the first output from the club this year, that actually says Hull City on it.
In all seriousness, I hope you got paid big money as the prices of shirts are ridiculous now and can you really see people buying that for ~£50? I genuinely didn't get our Topps Tiles sponsored shirt as the logo looked stupid.
The shirt's normally £43 and many will still be boycotting because it doesn't say Hull City on it anywhere.
It used to say Hull City on the badge but now it is just the tigers head and the founding year as their owners still want to change their name to Hull Tigers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hull_City_A.F.C.#Colours_and_crest OLM - I thought that Allam said he would sell the club if he got denied and he has been twice, is it happening?
As BigFox suggests, many people aren't buying shirts currently, due to our owners insistence on not allowing 'Hull City' to appear anywhere on the kit(or anything else). What's surprising about the kit release photo above, is is actually says 'Hull City 2015/16 Home Kit', based on everything else the club has put out this year we'd expect it to say 'The Tigers 2015/16 Home Kit'.
He's full of ****, he's got no intention of going anywhere. He's put out some vague statement about going away to consider his options and he won't be saying anything else until he's decided what he's doing. The reality is, that he needs us to be a Premier League club for him to have any chance of recouping his investment, so nothing will happen until we get back there. There has a least been confirmation from the club this morning, that the FA decision will have no bearing on Bruce's ability to do business and the club still intends to put together a squad capable of promotion.
Atleast it´s not got tiger pattens. Imagine if that ever happend OLM ? **** me that would take the bikkie. In all seriousness I would be ****ed off too ref your clubs name. I would only ever except Leicester Fosse as a name change for us. The place is call Hull & it´s a city... no brainer.
Sorry, I understand now. Hull City doesn't appear on the kit but it appears on the press release. It make sense now. Not even your owners would put tigers home kit now available However if out press release was "Foxes kit now available" it would not be a problem. Then again we are not being threatened with changing our name to Leicester Foxes - yet
