So we have had a New Gaffer in place all summer to get the players he wants and create a team that will work together. We all know one thing that needs to be resolved. SCORING,
We are now 16 games in a third of the season gone and sitting in mid-table again.
We have won seven, five of those the first five games of the season. So, in the past eleven games we have won two drawn two and LOST seven.
When you look at the top teams they have double the goals scored than us, but similar goals conceded.
So what is missing????? GOAL SCORERS why after three gaffers under the new ownership do we not have players who can put the ball into the back of the net.
We have had several players who have been signed with big credentials and have done JACK S%^T
I have watched some matches of late and it has been boring, I would sooner go and watch Chatham.
So do we do the wrong thing and change the manager at the halfway point and hope for yet another season we hope we stay up.
If we do change who is around and who is worthy of taking control, kicking A$% and getting a team who can compete for the top.
There is ONE MAN who knows the club, knows the present team like the back of his hand. Has been there and done it. And can KICK A$$

HESSY, Come back on the bench and get us out of the mess

I think we have one of the best defensive records in the league, also even better than the teams in league one with the exception of Wrexham and Wigan, looking at the tables today.

So as you say Lenny our problem is scoring goals, yet again. So dare I suggest it's tactics? Would it help resolve the problem if we were more of an attacking side through sacrificing some of our defensive ability.

It seems to me that we've carried on where Neil Harris left of, that's not a criticism of Neil, but merely suggesting the tactics might be a contributor of our problems. If not tactics then we can only blame our striking ability.

Appreciate I was more of a supporter of Harris than some but the goalscoring issue actually stems back to the last season of Evans so we're looking at 4 years now of being a low scoring side.
