Just watched the highlights of our rivals match on Saturday, have been left with thoughts which seem to be very familiar. 1. Looks like Jelavic will do his usual diving in an attempt to win PK's 2. See 1. replacing Jelavic with Naismith 3. Rangurs players think they're intelligent or funny by copying Mr Lennon's earcupping I'm surprised Naismith even bothered to celebrate the goal as he did, considering he'd missed two howlers beforehand. Add to the ridiculous decisions at Easter Road, looks like we may well be in for more of the same.
Agree mate, by more of the same, I was meaning crap refereeing, nothing more. Doesn't help when so called professionals try to con them by faking it. We're not immune to it, cringe-worthy when it happens, it's part of the furniture at Ibrox.
Ian Brines was the referee for the game against St Johnstone last season when Duberry did his Harlem Globetotter's impression in the box and he didn't even give us a penalty. The bloke's just incompetent. Same with the linesman on Sunday when he flagged Hooper offside even though he was in his own half!
The refs complain when technology is mentioned, but they're not good enough to stave it off. There were a few things through the game, the far-side assitant had 3 or 4 poor decisions. The near-side linesman gave the offside you mention, Hooper might've missed, at least should've had the chance to.
