Can't believe I'm no spring chicken yet as I type this I've been up since 4am and I can't fall asleep all because it's the first day of the new season and it's time to get cheer on the mighty superhoops once again. It's funny how it's been almost a decade since my last trip to the loft (as much as I'd drive most places to see the hoops, flying is a different matter) but as the first day looms the old pre game ritual comes back to my mind and I feel like a kid again with all the unrealistic hopes and dreams for the upcoming season. I'll be looking for a suitable stream to watch the game even if it does mean getting strange looks and questions from the other half as to why I'm cheering or screaming obscenities at my laptop from 8am in the morning depending on how the match progresses. Here's hoping for a vastly better opening game and better premier league campaign overall than last time and for those that can make it sing loud and proud for those of us that can't join you and we have a win to celebrate in a few hours!
Yes, our opening games in the premier league has not been good. Man City 1-1 QPR A Villa 4-1 QPR. Man Utd 2-0 QPR. Blackburn 1-0 QPR. QPR 0-4 Bolton. QPR 0-5 Swansea. QPR ?_? Hull. It's time to break that run.
