Rio is a classic case of a once great player who stayed on too long. Now Mata would be a major gain for any club, can't believe the way he is being treated at Chelsea. Even when he plays well the praise is condescending. I'd be off like a shot if I were him, and find a club that appreciates skill and flair, and doesn't want him to be a defender half the game.
I can see him going back there tbh they only have to wave the wonga and the Dutch mercenary would soon appear.
